Welcome to the official page of the adopted villages of Tihu College, Tihu, selected under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship programme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Since July 2025, the college has been actively engaged with its five adopted villages- Bali, Barmakhibaha, Jalkhana-Bhatuakhana, Ratanpur, and Mathurapur through continuous field-based learning, community engagement, and participatory development initiatives.
Through active participation and collaboration, we strive to work collectively towards the sustainable development, empowerment of rural communities, and overall well-being of our adopted villages. This initiative is designed to strengthen the bond between the institution and society by promoting knowledge sharing, awareness generation, and community-oriented activities for inclusive rural development. We sincerely look forward to the cooperation and support of all villagers, students, and stakeholders in making this journey meaningful, impactful, and successful.
